Dave Casey grew up in a small town in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, playing cops and robbers by day and disappearing into his sketchbooks by night. That child remains in his playfully mischievous drawings, inviting you to another dimension where children are encouraged to play with knives and roam with wild beasts. He received his BFA in Visual Communications in 2003 from the Alberta College of Art and Design, and received his MFA degree in 2013 at the School of Visual Arts in New York, in the Illustration as Visual Essay program. In his free time, he makes bad techno music and daydreams about having a dog.
